A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Truck-mount capacity handles larger losses without slowing down partway through.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Local staging near Yale cuts the wait between your call and equipment arriving.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
These reviews come from real water extraction calls, not a curated highlight reel.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., Yale"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Yale"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Yale"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Yale"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., YaleThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 48097, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Whether your address sits in the city core or a neighboring zip code, the same water extraction response standard applies.
Service boundaries are based on realistic response time, not an arbitrary line on a map.
